Internal Flame
Stinging pressure strikes the heart,
Permanently imprinting, a flame does start.
Fiery tendrils begin to sway,
Along to the drumming that starts to play.
Wisps dance to passion's growing beat,
Heating skin and burning deep.
Searing kisses caress the soul,
Feeding the fire thats out of control.
No cool breeze from words of ice,
Could ever extinguish a flame of this height.
Year after year, the fire may fade,
But the coals will forever remain.
