I'm not saying here that females are superior to males. I'm saying that females are equal to males in senses of superiority and deserves equal rights and equal social status, as well as power and opportunity.
some of my counter points to something a male chauvinist said:
1) Physical strength-While maybe many a case a guy is stronger than a girl, it is not always the case. Just because some of us (coughmecough) sucks at arm wrestling doesn't mean all of us do. And physical strength certainly isn't everything. That's for barbaric morons who do nothing but fight.
And you really don't want me to kick the crap out of you... Or punch. I punch better than I kick.
2) Intelligence-Don't give me that the average male IQ is 5 points higher or something like that crap. Unless you make everyone in the world take an IQ test, it's not going to be that accurate. I've certainly never taken a REAL IQ test in my life (which is pretty darn short, though), meaning, that the only ones I've took are those online ones that aren't all that accurate. And neither has, probably, most people. IQ can only get you so far. I know people who are supposedly smart who are downright idiots. And the guys got Eienstein and all those people (Eienstein is awesome, by the way).
It's like if my IQ is 30 points higher than the guy next to me, then females are superior to males. Or vice versa. (For that matters, in most cases, it's probably 30-60 points higher. I swear... most guys in my school aren't that smart. Ditto the girls. Which makes it the majority of the student body.)
And just because you are smarter, IQ-wise doesn't make you superior to other people. What about the mentally challenged? They definitely deserve the same rights as the normal people and the geniuses. Even though I agree with the fact that one is not born with equal talent, stating that one is meritally (if this is not a word, it should be) inferior/superior based on gender is just incorrect.
Oh, and if you really think it's that important, let me tell you: I'm the top Latin student in my school. I'm also one of the tops in math. And I'm a friggin' girl.
3)Inventions, Society, and all that other crap- If you tell me that men created everything useful, it's because women never got the same edjumacation education as the men until some 50 years ago. And that in America, which supposedly is one of the countries with the most female rights (as far as I know. You can prove me wrong on that). If women were granted the same education from the beginning, then more than likely women will be creating roughly 50% of all the world's great inventions today (and naturally guys take the other 50%). Education is necessary.

Alright. Now on to my other points.
Guys are human. Girls are also human. Therefore, we, as human beings, must be treated as human beings and not property. As much as I love Latin, I must say that slavery is utterly wrong. So is racism. One race is not superior than another no matter what your stupid so-called-points are. Don't even try. It's already wrong on the basis of ethics.
What makes guys and girls different? It's the Y chromosome. Just because a girl has no Y chromosome makes her inferior. If you think that way, the female chauvinists could easily tell you that your Y chromosome makes you, a guy, inferior. (Of course, I don't believe in that crap, but this is hypothetical.)
