During the last two months working at this place, I have grown more and more irritable. The main issue is how I've been treated on a general basis, usually negative or without the benefit of a doubt. I have felt as though I am a child, inexperienced, and incompetent. This just isn't the case. I'll be 22 in a couple of months, I'm a very quick learner, and I'm not a complete dipshit.
What caused me to hand in my notice was a scheduling change; It's being planned to change me from morning shift (6am-2:30pm) to the evening shift (12pm-8:30pm). I cannot do this for various reasons, the main one being that it conflicts with my home life. I wouldn't have a lot of time to spend with Brandy. :l
Once the higher-ups found out about what had gone down, a few compromises were offered to me. I'm not sure if I want to take them or find another place to work. I'm going to set with if things don't go at least 85% my way then I'll have to take off and look elsewhere for employment.
Update: There will be only one offer that will keep me at this place. If I can be switched over from Will Call (customer pick-up) to RTS (return to stock), I'll be in the clear. Manuel, lead for RTS, needs more than one guy (Eduardo)., and it was his idea to suggest to our boss about the change. If the higher-ups go for it, then I can stay. If they decide that one is enough then, unfortunately, I'll have to leave.
