One word: OW.
After falling off my bike yesterday, I thought things were gonna be okay. It's not like I did anything serious to myself, right?
WRONG.
Woke up this morning, and I couldn't even pull myself out of bed because the pain in my neck was so bad. At the moment, I can't talk without feeling pain because my vocal chords vibrate against the muscles in my neck. Vocal chords vibrating = Pain.
I can't move my neck more than about 40° in the right direction, and about 70° in the left direction, and I certainly can't crane my neck down to even look at my feet. Best I can do there is perhaps 30° down (stare straight out in front of you, then tilt your head down about that far). Up's no big deal, but it's raining right now, so why would I want to look up?
Either way, once I'm done with this Extemp work for the speech and debate tub, I'm heading to the Student Health Services center to get some treatment... because if things are like this tomorrow, I won't be able to go to Salem to do research, and I certainly won't be able to handle a drive back home. ._.;
