After I got home from learning about my poor brother's death, I noticed the rain started slowly pitter pattering. A couple weeks passed... I grew strangely quite, i became thinner, and lost a few pounds. My energy became weaker and I didn't participate in school activities. Hana would try her best to make me eat, or atleast throw the soccer ball across the p.e field. It was hopeless. I couldn't do anything anymore. I miss how Suki would ruffle my hair every morning, how he usually takes the last bacon even though I hate it when he does that. I also miss... His funny attitude. Without him in the house it's like living in an empty forest. Suki would've made the dining room burst out into laughter. The whole family and relatives would laugh for hours, making our stomachs tightening and our eyes watering. Now theres only devistation and sadness among the halls. So much for my birthday. Turning 9 years old wasn't suppose to be that difficult, was it? Anyways. Since theres a few days in school left... I decided to make things better. I've been really shunned from the world, due to everyone's understanding about my brother.
Anyways... Today is the second of the last day till school ends.
I already turned 9, but i feel like i'm 3. Everyones been giving me 'special' attention since I got slammed by a tree, and my brother died. Hana is the same old her, but shes been alittle too hyper now-a-days. Steven... Er. Hes just plain creepy sometmes. Julia, Hana's cousin has been bringing in her homebaked brownies... Ohmygawd... They're delicious.
Briiiiiiiiiiiinnnnng.
"Class is now in session.", Mrs Odale raised her hands to silence the noisy almost-to-be 3rd graders. "I know today is a very anxious day for you all, but I would do appreciate it if you would calm down. Expecially YOU Steven." She glared to the boy who sat in back of me. I turned around, and poked him on the cheek. He flicked my bangs.
"EY!" I accidently blurted out.
"Young lady... Do you have an appropiate excuse for that sudden out-burst?"
"Umm... No?" I scratched my head, and gave Mrs Odale the innocent look I always used on my mom. My mom has a horrible sense of clothing.
"Very nice Mika, but please calm down. You and Steven are enough trouble for me this year." She sighed and carry on with the long... boring... did I mention long...? lectures on us growing up. Leaving the 2nd grade.... FOR PETE'S SAKES! We're just moving across the school yard!!
~Too lazy to type what the old teacher was lecturing about.
Lets skip to recess/lunch shall we?~
"Hana, what did you bring today? My dad packed me..." I opened up my lunch bag, and spotted... "A bag of seaweed, aloevera jello juice, and a sandwhich... with nothing in it."
"Ohs, I'll switch! My mom packed me a loaf of corn bread. I like grain bread though."
"Is there a difference?" I heard Steven questioned.
"Psh, yeah." I snorted. He rolled his eyes at me and gave me the 'L' sign on his forhead. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING LOSER?!!?!!"
"Ehh... You." Steven stuck out his toungue, and carried on with his milk.
"Gawd you're worser than Julia when shes drinking pepsi."
"Umm, Julia drank one this morning..." Hana warned me. I gave her a blank look at first. Usually, it takes me a while to soak in what most people are saying. So... yeah, call me weird.
Steven gulped the last of his milk and start doing jumping jacks... for no apparent reason.
"I hope the milk starts flowing back up..." I commented. Seriously, he just drank a cup of milk, and nows hes activating his activeness again.
"It's going the other way around smart-butt." He sneered, I sneered back. Boy does he get on my nerves sometimes.
"MIKA!!!!!" Hana shouted in my ear. She was grinning rather... strangely. I tapped my ear, and tried cleaning it with my pinky. "Blahalahaldkfjdiahfd!!"
"What was that Hana? My ears were starting to melt..." I gave her a cheeky smile.
"Ahaha, nothing." And there she goes... continuing with my whole grain bread. Sometimes Hana can scare the living Mika outta me. I mean, did you just read that? Woah...
~Oks, I know this is getting rather out of story line, but I need more random moments. XD~
"OMFG. STEVEN!!!!!!!!!!!" Julia screeched. Yup... she had pepsi this morning...
"Told you." I heard Hana stated to me. Steven was hiding behind Hana and I. Ahaha, hes such a baby when Julia gets near him.
"If she touches me... Please... burn me."
"OH MIKA, STEVEN!! I FOUND YOUUU!!"
"In fact... Cook me... BYE!" He jumped on top of the benches and tables, and fled for his life. When Steven was a few good yards away, Julia was already inches away from my face. She had huge eyes, and the most gigantic smile ever. I swear... her smile made my mouth sore just by looking at it.
"HIIIIIIIIIIIIII MIKA!!! HOMG! HOMG! TOMORROWS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOOLLLL!!!!!"
"Ahaha... So it is.." I sweatdropped, and gaved her a nervous smile.
"WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER, CAN YOU?!!?!?!?!" By now, my brain could've melted into my ears...
