For those who didn't know, I had a bad experience with the local college. Essentially, and without going into too much detail, the instructor for a course I was taking online failed to do what she was paid to do... thus leaving me with an "A" for two chapters worth of work and little in the way of actual knowledge. As I found that rather unsatisfactory, I filed a greivance with a proposed solution. Not 24 hours later, they came back and approved my suggested course of action. So... I'll be attending the same course again this Fall, free of charge.
The instructor was fired too, apparently.

I'm doing this new thing called the 4 Minute Gym. Essentially, it claims to give you a full workout in 8 minutes (4 for lower body, 4 for upper body). It sounds like a gimmick, right? I thought so too. Fact is, though, I can still feel yesterday's session. I was extremely skeptical of the effectiveness of the 4MG... so what better way to test it out than to actually use it for a period of time to see if there are changes? At the very least, I get to sleep better because I've burned off most of my energy. I'll post as to how that goes as I progress.

I went to good ol' DC this weekend. Jennie will likely post pictures when the roll is complete, so I've got nothing to say beyond "it was fun" and "I like DC". Well... perhaps a few things. One, Indian fast food is good, and Union Station's basement is a great place to get it (as it has been for years). Two, the Jefferson Memorial is a good long walk, but it is worth it. Three, the smaller places in DC (like the George Mason memorial) are some of the best places to go. Four, the metro is still a great form of transport, but it can be inconvenient when they're doing track maintenance.
