Sigh. Just feel the need to complain.
Hey, that's what journals are for.

I'm pretty happy with my current relationship. The guy is nice, funny, smart ( in most cases)... The only problem is that he has the most annoying pet peeves ever. He has to nag me about the most inane things.

Him: "Where's the remote?"
Me: "Over here, but the batteries are dead. You want to put the TV on for you?"
Him: "Why don't you get knew batteries?"
Me: "I don't know where Jim keeps them, and I don't mind getting up to change the channel."
Him: "That's no excuse for being lazy."

Then ensues an argument over whether or not he should be calling me lazy when I'm getting up to turn on the TV for him.

Or

Him: "See, I hate that." (Note, I heard him say this almost perfectly with my headphones on.)
Me: *takes head phones off* "Sorry, what do you hate?"
Him: "I've been talking to you for the past five minutes."
Me: "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you."
Him: "It's really rude to do that."
Me: "It's not rude to not hear someone... It's rude to ignore, but I have no choice whether or not I hear you."
Him: "That's no excuse. It only counts if you're doing something or are pre-occupied."
Me: *shutting up, but thinking, 'Gee, like? Pre-occupied with listening to my music?'*


Or, a completely different situation, but one that still really bugs me is, he'll be insisting one thing, and I'll be insisting another, (like for instance, he once insisted that the moon does not come out during the day. What you see is only a reflection) and it's usually something I thought I knew pretty well. He makes me doubt it, I feel the need to find out the truth, and then he calls me petty because I had to look it up.

Just felt the need to rant, so I don't explode. -_-
