So I don't have much I can do with my time right now. I'm not allowed to go back to HS cause you can't re-enroll once you turn 19, even though you can still attend till you're 21. It's really depressing cause I miss it and always will, and I'd like to take more advantage of HS. But it's kinda relieving in a way too, because I've had the choice made for me.
I called to find out about getting my GED, but there's a waiting list for the class. There's already 180 some-odd people on the list all waiting to get into the class. The person I talked to said it would probably be around Winter when I would be called for the class. I mean, I could just take the tests, but I know I wouldn't pass math and stuff. I need some reminders. xD It HAS been two years. I'm smart, just need refreshing. 3nodding Though, I might get some GED books instead.
I'm just hoping I'll get that out of the way before January, because in January I have to apply for financial aid so I can go to college in the fall. Even if I do get my GED done, I'll still have nothing to do till fall, again. Dx
I'd get a job, but I can't cause they'll take away my mom's social security income if I do. Then she'd be moneyless when I do move out and would probably spend years fighting for it again. So, it's not an option. I'm hoping to get my apartment next summer, though. Then I can get a job.
I suppose I could volunteer somewhere. At the animal shelter or something. Maybe take-up a babysitting job. I think I'll also study the old textbooks I have, like Japanese and such. But yeah, pretty bored right now. =/
