Yes, I know, what a corny subject. Well, I don't know how else I'd put these two subjects together; I'm too lazy to make 2 separate ones. They're short anyways.
As of the 27th day of the month of August, Gaia launched this summer festival that involves water balloons. I was online that day, yes, but I didn't partake in the activities. 1 - Because I can't choose among the teams, 2 - I have TONS and TONS of homework, and 3 - my dear IE didn't launch Gaia Towns, not properly anyway.
But today, a miracle happened. My IE actually worked! For the first time in AGES---ok, a week---I have entered Gaia Towns. I looked around the neighborhood, checked up the zipcode where my house is located, and walked around, shaking trees, bushes, and sands. (Boy, do those bushes look pretty... especially if they cough up 9 gold...)
Because of this miracle, I decided to join Team Barton. I also decided to join the said team because of some NPCs living there ^.^ I mean, how many times will you be able to see NPC Leon out of that armor suit? 4laugh
While I was looking around in the forums, I noticed that I have one announcement. I went to it, naturally. It said that the new Marketplace Beta testing is now open for the general public. I decided to test it out. I have to admit, it looks pretty and organized. It even shows my Wishlist on the right! Moreover, it has information about the average selling prices. That was a big help.
To test it, I decided to sell one of my inks. I chose the brown one, selling it for 50g, mainly because I haven't noticed the average selling price of 42g yet. I saw that RIGHT WHEN I clicked submit. But oh well. Oops? It was close anyway.
About the whole 2% thing, I understand it; I agree with it. But I was just wondering: what if you sell something for 1g? 2% of that would be .02g, right? So if that item gets sold, you'll earn .98g, correct? Now, I know I'm not the only one who noticed that the Gaia Gold Amount thing at the top only accounts for whole numbers. So, will that round off to 1g? What if you sold something that would earn you a value that has less than .5g? According to math, that will round off to the lower value. Isn't that a bit of a rip off or something? question
