The One
So many roads wide open to me now
Which way do I turn?
To whom do I turn to?
I thought I knew what I wanted
Knew just what I was looking for
It seems that I meet someone new everyday
One is strong and very demanding
One is Loving and caring
Another, tempting
The list could go on forever
For a long time I didn’t even care
I was happy just being alone
Now I realize, it’s not for me
I want to love
And to be loved
And I have to pick the right man for me
There is one I know I can be myself with
One I know I can laugh with
One I know I could be happy with
I love to be around him
Miss him when he is not here
One I know I can and will someday love
Yes he could be the one
