The Strawberry Festival is this weekend. It's where a giant place is set up and they sell diffrent strawberry food, merchandise, and other things. The Strawberries are beyond huge, and juicy. They also have good fudge there. Oddly they also have good nachos. The story I heard on why there is a festival is...a long time ago strawberries were a major cash crop in Pasadena. So to celebrate we hold a festival...although the feilds are long gone. That or I have no idea what a strawberry plant looks like. Either way it works. Using strawberries they make the most BIGGEST and BEST Strawberry shortcake I have ever seen! It is giant!
This year I went for a while with Sa. I wasn't able to stay long though because I had to go meet my brother to go to a symphoney/piano thing.
In the time I had I had fried cheese and I got a giant chocolate covered strawberry. This year however...it was HOT! It was around 98...I had fun while I was there though. It was great. ^_^
Later on the consert was...wow. That guy was FAST! He literally went up and down that piano faster then i thought he would originally. Apparently, it was going to be one of his last things to play too. The secound half they played the full version of The Firebird. My brother told me a good amount about it too. Apparently, it is one of his favorite pieces. ^-^
All in all today was great. I have no idea what to do now though. Today has been fun but...the night has to be also!
