I was walking to the room of a thousand fountains then my master came to get me saying that the Council wanted to see me. At first I didn't know how to react because I had only been in the council room a few times before and that was because i had made some rather... questionable decisions. Slowly I made my way to the room with my master straying behind me. I knew instantly that this was no ordinary trip to the council or my master would guide me as he usually does. When I stepped into the coucil chamber and the door slid closed behind me, it was pitch dark and I was startled for a moment. But then twelve bright lightsabers sprung vertically out of the darkness illuminating the twelve faces of the Jedi council members.
"Come forward," Master Yoda said. I came forward and I knelt before him. The master's green saber lightly flowed over each sholder as he asked me if I would uphold all the great duities called of a Jedi. I, of course, answered yes with all my heart. Swiftly he detatched my padawan braid. Slowly it sunk in. I was no longer one of those minions to the Jedi Knights. I was no longer a child. I was a woman. I Jedi Knight! I have never been so happy since I was chosen by Knight Kil-Wan to be his padawan. But now I was my master's equal... I walked out of the chamber and found my master waiting for me. I looked at him and saw something I never had before. His eyes now shone with a deep sence of pride. I couldn't help but smile as my long awaited dream had finally come true.
