To Whom It May Concern. Do not contact me about getting permabanned accounts unbanned unless you can provide compelling evidence as to why the permaban might have been mistaken in the first place. I'm generally a nice guy, but don't mistake that for being a pushover. Nagging, whining, wheedling, pestering, bribery and emotional blackmail will not work on me. If you can give me a good reason, with supporting evidence, as to why your permaban was not appropriate, I can take it to the other mods and present your case and have the ban reconsidered (which still does not guarantee that it'll get lifted). What I will not do, however, is unban an account on your say-so, regardless of how insistently you nag me, or how many pixellated items you offer me. That's not the way it works. I'm fine with being a point of contact with the rest of the mod team. What I am not fine with is being perceived as soft touch who'll unban your account just because you asked me to. stare - Zahir

	I have noticed that occassionally, when users post their 'injustice' in feedback or QnA, that your username is mentioned. That they have talked to you and that you agree, but nothing is done. So they figure posting about it and making a huge public issue over it will work. I find it strange that they feel that since the moderators won't unban their account, that by posting publicly over it, somehow, <i>that</i> will get their account un-banned.

	Really? Damnit, my ego hates being left out of people talking about me. Do you have links? xd It seems the be the case that permabanned users will go to one mod who they think will be a soft touch, and then if that mod doesn't get their account unbanned, they'll go try another mod, and so on and so forth. However they don't seem to appreciate the crucial fact that mods talk to one another, and a given moderator cannot reverse another mod's action without discussing it with them first. If someone approaches me with a "I got unfairly banned, plz halp." story, I'll ask them for their side of the story, check with the mod responsible for the ban, and do my best to present that user's case. If that mod remains adamant that the user's account will not be unbanned, that's the end of it. Case closed, appeal rejected, sorry, can't help you. Essentially, the fact is that I can't go over a fellow moderator's head or behind their back to undo a ban that they put in place. It's unprofessional in the extreme.

	You Mods should be allowed to loot perma-banned accounts, or take away an item as a warning/punishment. Almost all cases of bannination either result in someone breaking a major rule, or someone who has broken rules on enough occassions that everyone knew it was coming anyway. I don't see why anyone would try to argue those.
