Finally summer is almost over. I swear the day of september 4th will be one of the best days this year. All this babysitting is like torture....... everyday stressed . Anyways I'm psyched for school but nervous because being a freshman in a new shool is gonna be a little intimidating but I have tons of friends for that. Band amp is coming up too on thursday. It goes from thrusday to friday, weekend off, then monday through thursday again. but the first days are 1-3pm and the four dya practice is lik1 1-7pm. I think I'm gonna be sick of the clarinet and possibly band. My dad is coming up to to possibly pick me and my sibilings up sunday night or monday morning. I really dont want to go but hes my dad so I kinda have to. So from whenever I leave i wont be back till the following sunday.Did I mntion I made it to the finals of an international poetry conteest? If I didnt now I did. The poem goes like this......
Blood, tears, love, hate
Life, death, can't wait
As blood flows from my body
I feel the cold embrace
Around my empty body
And on my hated face
Don't question why I do it
or convince me otherwise
It's you who made me do this,
With your empty shallow lies
Flesh, Blood, metal, skin
no salvation from your sins
The life drains from my body
I'm sorry, my friend, goodbye
I just feel the world would be better
If I jusy lay down and die
I want to leave this empty world
This hallow vale of tears
I want to feel the end of life
But it's you who keeps me here
You know how much I love you
Protect me from their lies
When you're here with me
I'd never want to die
....... so what do you think of the poem. obviously when I wrote it I was depressed and alot to.
