About that manager:
Okay, her name is Diane. She's one of the closing managers at where I work. She doesn't know how to talk to people properly to get them motivated to do things. Instead she demands that they do what she wants them to do. She'll want to go out and have a smoke or talk to someone or go and sit in the back while someone else counts down and visit with them and see that I have a long line and just say something to the effect of 'Well, you better check fast'. What the hell? <_< A person can only check so fast...and if someone is a slow payer, then I can't help it.
I recently reported her to my store manager and, when he talked to her about it, she told him that I had more or less lied to him, because, of course she came to me after and bit my head off for doing it. She's the kind of person, where if she's going to talk to you and you want to say something back, she'll just talk over you and won't let you get a word in edge wise.
Here's what happened as far as I remember it: Sunday night. I was the only checker, my other checker had just pulled her till. I had a line of people starting. The other checker, Jody, I'd heard her called Diane over the innercom and ask for Diane to come to bookkeeping. A little bit later, I called for Diane to check and she called me up and told me 'I can't check, I'm doing something important. Call Cody to courtesy.' I didn't call Cody, as far as I saw it, I needed a courtesy if I had someone in line that had a big order, everyone had small orders. She calls me back up a little bit later and says 'Why haven't you called a courtesy?' I tried to explain that everyone had small orders and I needed another checker, not a courtesy of which she talked over me yet again and demanded that I call a courtesy. So I wound up calling a courtesy, who, might I add, just sort of stood there and did nothing.
Now after the fact, to where Diane approached me after I'd reported her to the store manager, she told me that she'd been doing something with a cop and it was important. Now, the day she told me that was the FIRST time I'd even heard about it. So, in fact I never lied to my store manager as far as I knew, I had just given him the facts as I knew them.

Yeah, so if ever there was a prize for super bit-- she'd get it. <_<;
This is why I'll have an alcoholic beverage on hand when I know I'm going to be closing with her. D: Wtf...I hardly never drank before either.

She's give other people special treatment, let them go home early without doing all of their stuff or have longer breaks. I and another girl, Shelby, she's hard on both of us. It's seriously starting to piss me off and it's got to stop. ._.' I think I'm going to go to my manager again and tell him about how she chewed me out Thursday night for 'lying' to him. I'm going to explain to him the facts that I knew and that if she was doing that she should have mentioned 'I'm with a cop, I can't check, get a courtesy' instead of being so rude about it.
