<center>Muurf.</center> My job is so full of Stupid. It's just amazing. The entire company is very disorganized, interdepartment communication is no less like pulling teeth for employees as it is for clients. It's so dumb. Today, however, I bring to you a story full of Lame. Once upon a time (three months ago), I entered the position that I am in currently and was being trained by the boss. The boss there has no official title, from what he has said, just that the "real" supervisor for this department went bye-bye and he is now doing what he can to fill their shoes. One of the first things that we trained on was a weekly mailing that is for my position only. 98% of these mailings need a letter that say Date X and Date Y on them but there are 2% that need Date X and Date Z on the letters. If he explained to me then why things were like that ... I completly forgot or he got me confused. Today when I asked for clarification as to what's going on, he got me confused. So I am confident that he got me confused on the first explination as well. Long story short, I've been saying the wrong thing to the people receiving these mailings for 2 months now. My boss just laughed and smiled and said "Well, that's better than 2 years ago when we were sending out completly wrong information all together!" twitch The boss spent about 5 minutes explaining about the clients having different info and that there were the 2% of them that had different dates in comparison to the rest for odd reasons, but he has never been able to figure it out, but he is trying to ... then FINALLY said "All it really is, these 98% of people get one month and these 2% of people get 3 months. The guys who make the rules don't even know why that is, they just do it because it's always been done that way." LOVELY. Work is so fun when you find out you're doing asinine things for absolutely no reason, isn't it? 3nodding

	Sound just like one of the government positions I was in last year. We were sending out tons of letters, where the replys were expected from months to days from when we were sending them.

	I think it's because people are stupid. :O They do the stupidest things for the stupidest reasons which they end up forgetting later on anyway, along with the things that they really should remember. I feel sorry for you to have to do such tasks. XP

	Now I know what your the Administrator of...the mail! LOL. But seriously, when I found out that you had been made an administrator, I almost died. I hope your job isn't getting to you, you just got to remember this: It's not the money or the people who are the most important thing of working, it's keeping yourself happy and learning from your mistakes.
