Stake Girls Camp 2007
Tuesday:It was the first day of Girls Camp and we had just barely arrived in the afternoon. On the way up is quite fun, because I rode with my Mia Maids leader and she was so funny. We had packed our lunches with water, but she let us stop at a local Jubilee and we got some caffeinated drinks, which are technically "illegal" at Girls Camp. She didn't care much and we needed the caffeine. As we sat together as a ward eating our lunch I got to know our newest Beehives much better. Well it was really one of our Beehives and her friend who was a non-member that decided she would come up with us. Erin was the non-member's name and I found that her personality is much like my own. She was so cute and funny too. After lunch we had to set up our tents, which for us Mia Maids would be a difficult task. Luckily we had to go to the amphitheater for camp meeting. It was just mainly introductions and stuff like that. When we got back Brother LaFleur had already set up our tent. I sighed with relief knowing that we couldn't have done it anyway. Only one of us wasn't blond, so I was extremely thankful that he was there. Next we set up our rooms in the tent and got everything arranged. Finally it was free time, yet we didn't do much we Mia Maids just talked in our tent until dinner. After dinner we hung out a bit more and then talked in our tents until we finally fell asleep.
