I sorta abandoned LostMagic for a few months 'cause I royally sucked at it.

I picked it up again yesterday, and guess what?

I still suck.

I'm far better now, but I'm still not that great. -w-

You wanna know the magnitude of my failage?

I couldn't get past the Master of the Curtain Mist or whatever his name was.

Yep.

You wanna know why?

I was using an army of mushrooms.

Yeeeeep.

I must've lost to the freakin' Twem-face at least five times before I figured out that it wasn't working. >>;

So I brought some Aqua Hounds in instead, and he died, like BOOM.

Hounds became my favorite type of monster. :3 I'm still using them, and I'm running around getting the third rune of every element now. My favorites are the Gale Hounds. Pure pwnage.

My favorite element to cast is also wind.

Screw Trista. I ARE TEH WIND SAGE BWAHAHAHAHA.

...Seriously, my wind magic level is well off the little circle-graph-chart-thing you get. It's been that way for a loooong time now. Does it ever go up to rank 6? 'Cause I think I hit 5 before I went to Runedolf for the first time. >>;

Oh, yeah, that reminds me.

*major spoilers if you care*

I was playing and my brother told me that when I have to choose between saving Trista or keeping my wand, that's when you choose between the good and evil paths. He thought I had missed the cutscene somehow but I really didn't. ._.;

So when I DID get to that cutscene, Diva was all, "GIMME WAND OR I KILL TRISTA LAWLZ." And I'm all, "Uh, no. I don't care. Hold Mr. Moon Jester hostage and I might think about it."

So she killed Trista.

And then she killed Mr. Moon Jester, too.

Great.

'Course, stupid Isaac was all, "Tris-Trista? TRISTA?!" and not even noticing that Leonard just kicked the bucket, too.

I mean, what?

Has Trista EVER done ANYTHING to be remotely helpful (not including good path)? She just sorta sits there being the most failage sage of all. Oh, and she flies. But that's it. She was unwittingly helping the Diva, for crying out loud.

Look, I don't like her. That's my favorite element she's making look bad. D:

Okay, now Mr. Moon Jester, on the other hand...

He teaches you the Trap spell. Let's you capture monsters to command. Isaac would get killed within the first two seconds of entering a battle if it weren't for your loyal monster meatshields.

That instantly makes him waaay more win than Trista.

Of course, Isaac doesn't even aknowledge his death. XD

I was sorta debating on whether to reset or not (evil path can be a nice change of pace sometimes, I mean, it's just a game), and then I remembered that Trista DOES have a use.

She gives you wind runes.

Of course, she's a freakin' Twem-face about it and doesn't give 'em to you until you've got all the others. What the heck Trista? I thought you wanted to be more helpful? Could you at least TRY? I mean, it'd be REALLY nice to have the wind runes BEFORE I get myself half-killed trying to get the other runes.

Anywho, I reset and picked the good path... >>;

Right now, I'm off to get the final fire rune. I just got the water one (freakin' Master of the Curtain Mist guy was a royal pain in the rear again and healed EVERYTHING I DID TO HIM but then I blew up in his face a bunch and was lucky enough to kill him). Here's hoping Lord of the Summer Haze is as easy as she was last time. :3
