I am no angel, I can’t fly,
I am no angel; I can’t touch the sky,
I wish I had a pair of wings, just like last night in my dreams,
I was flying very high, with the angels in the sky,
Until the sun made me open my eyes,

Sometimes I wish I were an angel, sometimes I wish I could be you,
Sometimes I wish I could be noticed, for all the good things that I do,
While I look up at the stars, I see you have captured everybody’s hearts,
The sky has gloomed my life, because I see the angel’s flight,
But I have no pair of wings; I can not fly with out those things,
Sometimes I wish I were an angel, sometimes I wish I were you,
You fly up in the sky, spreading your heavenly wings,
I try so hard, but no matter what I do,
I can’t compare to you,
I wish I had a pair of wings, just like last night in my dreams,
I was flying up so very high, for once an angel in the sky,
I wish I had never opened up my eyes…
