Breifing

My name is Kayce and for about 3 years i had been forcefully made to live and be trained as a US solider. But recently on December 15th i was returned home for some odd reason. Its now January 3rd and im going back to my normal school. My friends Buttonz, Andy and Kaydin had to go threw the same thing and now were back and loving it.


I woke up at 5 in the morning about an hour before i really needed to. I walked around the house silently petting the six cats that lived with us. My mom was asleep in her bed and i walked into the bath room taking a shower then going back to my room in a towle to change. As i walked out in my clothes my mom's alarm went off and i smirked. I let out a loud yawn and started to rummage around the fridge. I ate and then took my meds like normal. My mom got up and saw me already dressed and ready to go. She smiled and hugged me standing on her tippy toes to kiss my cheek. I kissed hers and got on the comp to check a few things before going out the door shouting to her that i loved her and id see her later that day.

The bus came around and i smirked seeing that new kids were on the bus and the older kids were gone. "KAYCE!!" said my bus driver and i smiled at her softly. "Welcome back." she said and i nodded to her going to the back of the bus were Buttonz sat along with our friends red head and Chirlene. "KAYCE!!" they shouted and tackled me into the aile. The kids that use to talk s**t about my brother just stared at me confused as hell and basicly shaking since i looked so diffrent. "Damn it feels good to be back in this hell hole town." I laughed softly with my friends.

After about a 20min ride the bus came to the school and i looked around. Not much had changed since i had left. Kaydin and Andy were in the lunch room like normal with our other friends and they tackled us and we laughed causing a huge up roar in the lunch room that even the lunch women got in on. After things calmed down we sat and talked but oddly non of our friends belived us that we had been in the military and held captive. "We know you've guys have been in a really bad accident..." Muttered Shelby and i shook my head. "What are you talking about?" i asked confused. "Dont you rember?" Asked Guy chen and i looked at him so confused. "You guys were in acoma for about 3weeks cause you had been camping and fell down the that cliff..." He said. Buttonz Kaydin and Andy all looked at me and i looked at them confused as hell. "They dont rember..." muttered Shelby knudging Guy chen. "Well! How was that school you guys went to!?" they asked and i rolled my eyes. "we have to get our class sheduels." we said in unison and got up leaving the room silently.

We came to the schools office and they gave us our classes plus our locker number. We were all next to each other and had mostly the same classes. I sighed and looked up at the cealing as the women went on and on about how much we had changed over our time in Seattle and in the hospital. We left quickly when they mentioned the hospital part. All the teahcers asked the same damn questions and i got tired of it. "I DONT REMBER ANYTHING!" i shouted at one of them accidently forgetting they were only curios and knew nothing of what had gone on the last 3yrs. I growled and went about the rest of the day sparking off at people who annoyed me. By the end of the day most of the kids wouldnt even look at me and my friends plus me were all being talked about. Me, buttonz and Andy all walked home that day. Kaydin lived the other direction of us and rode her bus home.

I walked next to Andy silently my back pack slung across my shoulder. "I dont get it...What the hell happened to everyone.." Muttered Andy. "People change dude....Even if they dont notice it...others do." I muttered and one of the kids who use to pick on my brother along with some others ran up to us. "Your that Kayce kid who shouted at Ms. Bromley werent you?" A girl asked and i nodded my head. "You had no right to do that!" she hissed. "I didnt mean to do it damn lay off." i growled. "Your a real b***h for doing that!!" she hissed. "You should learn to give critisim where its due girl." I said and she glared at me. "You whore!" she shouted and i slapped her across the face. She gasped and so did the others behind her. "Now leave me alone." I snarled. "Oh hell no. You just did what i think you did!?" I asked one of them and i slapped her across the face too. "Yeah and i just did it to you too." she said and suddenly there was a fight going on between me and the other kids along with Buttonz and Andy. We way layed them in a matter of moments thanks to the training we had been forced to learn. "NOW You better back off." i snarled and walked off grabbing my back pack that had been yanked off during the fight.

Andy split up about 20mins later back to his house since he had walked us to the begging of south skagit highway. "See yah tommarow Andy." I said and he waved as he started to jog back to his house. Me and Buttonz stared to walk as the bus passed us and we waved to patty the bus driver. We walked over the bridge and Buttonz had a kaniption fit since she was scared of bridges over water. So she closed her eyes and i lead her across holding her hand. Once over that we walked down the highway silently listening to the birds sing and the cars pass by. Buttonz walked me to my house and then walked her self to her house.

"Im so confused..." I muttered as i sat on the pourch not walking inside. "Kayce you ok?" asked a voice i had not heard in a long time and i looked over my shoulder to see Dave my boy friend. I blinked at him and he smiled walking out and closing the door to hug me around my shoulders. "Im fine." I muttered softly and he nodded his head and hummed softly. I smirked since he knew that i loved his humming. "How'd you get up here?" I asked and he told me that he had taken a plane and was now planning on living up here and so was Skye. I smiled softly and he lead me inside. I put my stuff away and my mom id be back later before going out side.

Dave and me walked around the block a few times catching up. He told me that Cory had told him that some guy had came to the house and told my mom that i had fallen off a cliff and was in the hospital some time ago but knew it was other wise and only prayed that it was other wise. I was still confused as hell as to why so many other people had found out about it. But i came to the conclusion that my mom must have told them.

For the next few months untill school was out. I went to school and did my work being my normal untalkative self. When school was out i found a job and lived with my mom for awhile longer and hung out with my friends and all that when i could. It seemed that what ever hell strike was it was over. Oddly enough though when ever i was and around i thought i saw someone watching me. I started to get pissed every time i saw them. Every so often i would get mail from the military telling me they wanted me to join or some stupid thing like 'watch your back hell strike child' and i would have a black out moment for atleast the rest of the day and be gone walking around.
