BREIFING

So far ive been deemed unstable by the military i am prisoner of. They have put me back on meds and ive been deemed re-stable for combat if i have my meds. Training goes like normal and we've been seperated for individual testing and training.


It was noon and i was sitting under a tree calmly waiting for the Ranger leader to come and get me. I had taken my meds this morning like told to after i had eaten otherwise im basicly locked in a room and not alloud out till the next day. I saw Leon walking up from the distance and looked at him dully the light reflected off my glasses. I had started to warm up a lil to Leon since he normal wasnt as pushy as Ricky or quick tempered as the others. I looked up to him like he was a older brother or something. He tryed to be mean to me at times but when i smiled at him he just melted and couldnt punish me for what it may-be at times.

Leon walked over and scruffed my hair a lil a small smile on his face. My hair was alloud to grow out since it was close to the end of summer so it now stood on end thanks to his scruffing it. "Come on. To the obstacle coarse." He said pushing me toward the path that lead to it. I happily ran ahead of him and back flipped over the sighn that told me i was headed the right way. He only smirked and ran to catch up with me. As i got closer to the obstacle coarse i heard Kaydins voice and ran faster getting to the area i noticed her up top on the ropes. I stayed silent so she wouldnt get hurt but at the last 3 ft and i ran up and grabbed her ankles shaking them. she let out a scream and kicked me in the cheek. I laughed but fell over holding my face where there was a heel print. "YOU b***h!!" she shouted and jumped the rest of the 3ft unhappily watching me roll in the dirt. "come on Kaydin your no fun!" I laughed. Leon got my attention and Kaydin kicked me in the butt when i stood up to him. "KAYDIN!" shouted my friends instructor from the top of the coarse. Her trainer was a AirForce personel and a woman. "Have fun with your girlfriend." I snickered and Kaydin tryed to kick me again but i dodged and laughed "GO TO YOUR BOYFRIEND YOU WHORE!" she shouted and i laughed. "I would but he's not here right now." i snickered though it had been 2yrs since i had seen him. I had gotten to talk to him on the phone from the police station he had been escorted to mutiple times. I ran over to Leon before he came over to me. I spent antoher 4hrs at the obstacle coarse doing varios things.

I looked up hearing a helicopter out in the distance and the only time i heard the copters was when things were being brought in or people were leaving. "What the hell?" I muttered this bird wasnt a normal grade i was use to hearing. "Hit the showers!" shouted leon and i nodded my head running up the path toward the base but booked it toward the helicopter pad and looked threw the chain link fencing to watch what was going on. Soon Buttonz and Andy were around me too obviosly curios. "Is that Kaydin?" I asked and we shrugged. "I know she got pared up with the air force people but damn..." Buttonz muttered as we watched the military personell get out of the chopper and then the piolet turned it off and took the helmet off. IT WAS KAYDIN! "KA..." was all i got out before Buttonz covered my mouth. "Shhhh were suppose to go to the showers." hissed Andy quickly and i smiled sheepishly. "well if she has air force....." i muttered and looked at my friends. "Marines..." Muttered buttonz sheepishly and i looked at Andy. "Navy.." he said "Army Rangers..." said when they looked at me. "Lets go to the showers and wait for her." i said and we ran to the showers as a MP walked past the fence we were standing at just moments later. We waited for Kaydin and she came in about 10mins later and we jumped her. "KAYDIN! We saw you flying that chopper! Thats the bomb!" i said and the others agreed in their own way. "I was scared as hell!" protested Kaydin sheepishly. "still it was cool!" said Andy. "You have the air force...Andy's got the Navy and Buttonz the Marines while i have the Rangers. We all complete the main military branches...." i muttered the last part and we shrugged as other people came in to take their showers. We split up to our lockers and shower rooms. I came out last and yawning.

That night we were all moved into seperate barricks and only saw each other at meals or if our brigades or teams had a competition. But we all made a promise before our barricks had lights out we'd make sure we were all right. So we all howled at night and pissed off our squad leaders.

Leon came to me one day in the winter after a ruck march that i had done by my self. "We need you and your friends in the meeting room in 1hr." he said and i nodded my head. I let out a howl that echoed around the base and was quickly answered by 3others. We all met up in the middle feild where all the paths met. "What did you howl for Kayce?" asked Kaydin. We were all in diffrent uniforms for each of our squads. "Leon told me that we had to be in the meeting room in an hour." I said and they nodded their heads. We all went to the showers then to our barricks and changed then went to the middel feild again. "You look good." We all said at once and laughed. I was dressed in Army semi formal clothes and the others were dressed in semi formal clothes as well. "aight you guys lets go." i said and we all ran to the meeting room. Each of us took off our hats as we walked in knowing that if we didnt we'd each get into trouble.

We were taken into a room that had maps all around it. "So..." Said Ricky and i flinched at hearing his voice. We hadnt seen him for a few months since i had beaten the s**t out of him. "Your all part of seperate branches...I bet thats rather fun to see you guys bickering." He laughed we and growled softly. He cleared his throat and limped out of the room. We watched him go and we smiled. Another man walked in shortly after and told us of a mission we had to do. "******** you mister." Kaydin said standing up. "You've kidnapped us, kept us prisoner and made us into wepons!" Said Andy as he stood up. Me and Buttonz stood up as well and we all left the room. "******** this s**t...." was all i got out before i felt a very familure and yet hated sting in my chest. I looked down and sure enough there sat that ******** dart i hated with a passion. "Grab them before they hit the floor." I heard a voice say and i felt someone catch me and everything went black.

I woke up some time later not on the barricks but in my own room! I sat up and heard my bed make that annoying screeching sound since the wooden support beams under it had been busted. I looked and saw my stuffed dog stuffims and my cat Tom-Tom laying by my side. "TOM-TOM!!" i wailed and picked the cat up holding him close. Tom-Tom started to purr loudly and rub his face against my cheek. I stood up and put my cat on my shoulder where he kept purring and marking me using his head. I laughed and hugged the cat close with one hand. "KAYCE!!" i heard a semi deep voice say and i turned to see a boy about 16-17 come out of my brothers room. He was a lil taller then me with short black hair and brown eyes. "Cory?" I muttered and he tackled me hugging me. "God i missed you!" i laughed and he gave me a bear hug. "Dude you've gotten so big!" I said "You lost weight! and your darker then me!!" he protested and saw my mom above me. I smiled at her and she chased cory off me and hugged me close. Tom-Tom jumped off my shoulder. My house was CLEAN for once and i looked around. Everything seemed to be in place and i laughed hearing my dad from the back room grumbel about loud noises. "HOLY ********! WHATS UP *****!?" he asked looking at me and gave me a bear hug lifting me off my feet and i laughed. After a few hours of getting past the hugging and what not i went out side. The place still looked the same. And i started to run around the place. I ran down to Buttonz house and knocked on the door. "Is Buttonz here?" I asked and i was tackled by her mom. I laughed and staggered back a lil. "Hey mom." I said and smiled at her. "KAYCE!!" came a shout from the back room and i saw buttonz come out of her room. We had both changed from the military clothes we had come in to some clothes that were way to big to for us.

We went out side and started to talk. "Lets go to Kaydin's and Andy's" I muttered "Yeah...this is way weird.." She said and we walked into the house and told her mom we were going for a walk and we'd be back later. We ran up to my house and told my mom the same thing. Both our moms were a lil against it but told us to be back before too late. We ran into concrete and got to andy's house. He was there and so were his parents. We went down stairs and talked for awhile getting him to agree to come with us to Kaydin's. We told his mom we'd be back later and ran the 2miles to Kaydin's house. We got up onto the stairs and greeted Kaydins mom with the fundemental "GRANDMA!!" we shouted and tackled her hugging her. she laughed and pushed us off. "Kaydin here?" buttonz asked and she nodded her head. "out back with the cows." she said and we ran jumping over the fences that blocked the cows from getting out of the feild. "on the count of three." i said and we counted too three before letting out a loud howl taht was answered by a lone yet happy howl from Kaydin. we ran toward it and found her up in a tree happily goofing off. "Kaydin do you rember how we got home?" I asked and she shook her head. "I DONT CARE!!! IM SO HAPPY!!" she shouted and we all started to freak out as the thought of us ACTUALLY being HOME for the 1st time almost 3 years hit us and we started to laugh loudly. "Please dont let this be a damn dream!!" i shouted and we kept laughing and goofing off till way late and we all booked it home after that. Me and Buttonz got in trouble for coming home late but we didnt care we were home and loving it.

"Is this really real?" I muttered to my self looking up at the cealing of my room after dinner that night. My cat Tom-Tom and the others cats, George, Link, Spook, Fearless and smoochie were laying around on my bed as well. Fearless and Spook had gotten big since i had left seeing as how they had been kittens when i went to school that year. "Please dont let this be a dream..." i begged before falling asleep that night.
