Erm...okay. Been a while since I've written a happy poem. Let's see if I can make a non-crappy one.
I stare out my window
at the beauty surrounding me--
The bluebird sing a tune
And the melodies are sweet.
The flowers are fragrant
The butterflies glide to the sky
The clouds are wispy and white
The sky is as blue as the sea.
Children are playing in the fields
They are throwing a ruby red ball
Their laughter is soothing and healing
It brings joy and happiness to us all.
Rocks peek shyly from the earth
Deer graze slowly on grass
Trees hide the innocent animals
They reach for the skies.
I realize the beauty
Of the natural outdoors
I find the home
Where humans were first born.
