Do you like my walls?
Do you like my silk tapestries?
If only this place could talk...
It'd only be but a whisper.
I know there is no light.
Not much creeps in.
I know the images are but a blur
And there is always an eerie chill.
But don't you love it's beauty?
It's unique blinding beauty?
Or does it seem you are looking with wool
over your eyes?

Where dreams remain hidden
To my little abode
Where nothing is as it seems.
My palace of Illusion...

You don't see me crying here..
You don't see the tear stains on my cheeks..
All you can see is a glimpse of what looks like a smile
When underneath I hide behind a mask of wind and ice.
You only hear my laughter in the echo of the wind
When what it is.. is a call for help. A cry of agony.
My beautiful house of broken dreams.
Melt and become mist when my tears reflect
against the glass mirrors.
Tears reflect...my face... a face shrouded in shadows.
