It's like a crazy-a** rollercoaster, this whole cat thing. This morning, my mom REFUSED to speak to me about kittens. An hour later, she came into my room and told me I could get one. What . . . the . . . ******** . . . ? Not that I mind. I'm rather pleased. We want a long-haired cat. We've experienced both tabby and ragdoll, and we much prefer the latter. I think they stay cuter longer. We definitely want a female, and I think a cute name would be Maddie--short for Madeline.

Or maybe Dai . . . That's Welsh, and it means "the adored one."

Gah. My mom was joking yesterday how it would be funny if somebody named their dog Noodle. I thought it was hilarious.

Ooo! Saffi is cute. It's Danish and means "wisdom."

Heh heh. Zuza, Czech for "graceful lily." Kind of neat. We could always call her "Zoo" for short. *laughs*

Elli! Short for Eleanor, which is Old French for "the light of the sun."

Ari is kind of nifty, but it's a boy's name. My mom wants something short and cute though. Hmm . . .

I dunno. I can't find anything else suitable right now.
