My parents are so INFURIATING!!! My mother, especially. You see, today, my mom took me to Wal-Mart and let me buy supplies for my impending kitten. We went to the pound and looked at kittens but didn't click with any of them. So, I'm planning on calling some people who are selling kittens in the newspaper when we get home, but we get there, and my dad's just fuming over the whole thing. My mom wants an exclusively indoor cat. My dad's willing to compromise and allow the cat inside as long as it can "eliminate" (dunno why they use that term instead of urinate or defecate) outside. So, my mom says she's taking all the supplies back and I just don't get a cat.

Frankly, I expected this . . . Okay. I didn't really, but I still don't understand why she has to get my hopes up to skyscraper level and then pull a wrecking-ball stunt. What's more, she's the only person in our four-member family who's completely unwilling to compromise.

I'm completely pissed.
