Do you have any idea how difficult it is to maintain a smiling face and be all bubbly when your face is it's tear-strained and you just want to crawl into a hole?
Well I had to improvise this evening, lol. With no one for me to call so that I can rant, my emotions just turned from anger to disappointment to outright depressed.
I tried to hide the streaks down my face with make up, lol, but that didn't help my eyes which were filled with tears and red and poofy from crying. Lol, so when I had a customer ask if I was okay, I just said I was okay and I had allergies and ... my! the winds must be making it bad tonight, lol.
And then I call my boss to let him know where I am and he goes "are you okay? you sound a little beaten up." Lol, and I thought I was hiding my sadness...oh well, lol...
