i have two poems today 4laugh



IVORY BLACK

I fell in love with a guy,
Who's heart was Ivory Black,
My life began to unfurl,
And quickly fell off track.
I realized his love was an illusion,
A far, ever distant mirage,
And I've come to the conclusion,
His love was a barrage.
A barrage of evil hate,
Sent to saturate my soul,
My heart his pain did desecrate,
But my love's now on parole.
On parole from his evil hold,
Running to never look back,
In search of a heart of Gold,
And not one of Ivory Black.
When I find this Golden love,
One I've searched for, for so long,
My soul will fly free, like a dove,
Into a heart where I belong.
I'll then bury his heart in the ground,
And remove it's evil seeds,
So it can't grow or ever be found,
As forever, Ivory Black it bleeds.



JUST A FRIEND


My world starts to crumble
Whenever I look in your eyes
I want to tell you how I feel
But I cant find the words inside

I love you with all my heart
In more ways then one
But to you Im just a friend
Our days together are done

I try so hard to forget
The way I feel for you
But my hearts stronger then my mind
What else can I do?

You tell me not to love you
That I shouldnt care
But my souls so filled with love
My hearts about to tear

I imagine that when you look at me
You feel the same way too
But all I can do is dream
Of a place where Im with you
