ok, so i am baptist, right?

ok, but, who cares? religion is really nothing but a word and a difference of opinion.
Muslim people worship one god. Allah, correct?
--Allah is a different name for God.--
Jewish people worship God, right? Though they don't believe that Jesus came, am i right?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you believe in God,that is all that matters. right?
Ok, here is this, I have a friend who thinks being baptist is the ONLY way to go.
... exactly.
so, on her "top 10 prayer list" the has two of my friends who are catholic.
... exactly.
Yeah, G. Bush is up there... he is christian... but he sends people to die, so he is up there.
Here we go, this lady -baptist- said something along the lines of
"It is a sin to marry someone who isn't christian. so, don't marry an athiest, or agnostic, or buddhist..." stare
... i know, right?
My boyfriend of 7 months is Athiest.

Me (Christian) + Him (Athiest) = heart heart LOVE heart heart

she also said something like:
"now, girls, you shouldn't be subserviant to your boyfriends until AFTER you are married."
...wait, what? stare neutral
It is very wrong to assume that. I mean, that may be the way that SHE sees what the bible says... but, no. that is wrong. If your boyfriend/fiance doesn't like you for who you are when you AREN'T being subserviant... then don't take that. Leave him, he isn't worth it.

Now, I'm not bashing baptist people, but that is just all who I've been around and can critique on what they do or say.
Now, I'm sure that if you look up other people's stuff on religion, then you might hear other people's opinion on their religion... but that is it for now...
