Well, here's the story.
Everyone said I should get my host family to take me to the Yamakasa festival.
Well, I got them　to, so we went, and it was pretty couldy, but nothing more.
So, I take out my camera and started taking pictures of the Festival happenings.
THEN IT STARTS POURING RAIN. I immediately put my camera away...but apparently my pants pocket wasn't enough protection, and water got in. I know this, because we got to the car, and I took it back out. It was wet, and also...there was condensation inside the screen. So I decided to make sure everything worked, and pressed the power button to turn it on...NOTHING HAPPENED.
Okui, I say, I'll jus you my Kaa-san's hair dryer and it'll be fine.
Well...unfortunately not. So I shake it lightly next to my ear to hear if anything is loose. Well, I definitely heard something rattling around in there.
So soon I'm going back out with the host parents to see if we can get it fixed.
On the plus side, the memory card seems unharmed, so I at least didn't lose any of the pictures I had taken.
