The Event: So there is one PS2 in the house. That is all there needs to be. Me and my brothers share things quite nicely. Now let's get on it with it. I was playing FF8. A very time consuming game that I had worked hard on for more than 70 hours. It was a late night and right after rescuing Rinoa (I won't include any spoilers) I decided to go to bed. My brother happened to be playing the game too when I wasn't and so he decided to play it the next day. THAT'S WHEN IT HAPPENED. The next day after his day I went to indulge in my world of love, betrayal, and fantasy, but I noticed something quite odd when I went to go load my game. It looked as though my party had been rearranged from Squall, Rinoa, Quistis to Quistis, Squall, Rinoa. I thought that maybe I had rearranged them for some reason I couldn't remember. So I load. It was about 5 seconds after I loaded that my face turned red, my muscles locked, and my lip quivered. The name next to Squalls picture wasn't Squall at all...IT WAS ZANNADAR! The name my brother uses as an alias for all his games. So pissed was I that when I looked at my brother I said something to the effect of "ARGHHHHHEIWONRWNRNWGMKEMLKERNKNKLDHSFWYWHEAGRRRR!", then left the room. I did not come back until about 5 minutes later when I could fully explain what I was so pissed about. After I told him what he had done he said one word to me which infuriated me; one simple word, "Whoops!". After saying his kind word of eternal apology he went right back to playing his computer game. So then started the parrot talk. "Whoops? Whoops? Whoops? Whoops? WHOOPS? WHOOOOOOOPPPPSSSSSSSS?" I explained or rather I told him harshly that I saved in two different slots so that in case he accidently saved in one and had his "Whoops!" moment that I would still have another save. It was also on a different memory card than the one he was using! Well, his defense was he didn't notice...argh men! So to make a long story even longer I waited a week until I could fully accept having to play as Zannadar to finish the game.(We were in the same spot although he had already leveled his characters to 99 and my biggest problem was that he took my sexy black haired knight in shining armor and gave him the name of Zannadar. So the knight in shining armor thing was kind of ruined whenever I thought about Rinoa having to say "Zannadar!".) Well I went back to play it and when I loaded it he saved over his game (formerly my game) again.....*sigh*. I told him why did you do that because now I missed a s**t load of the story line. His answer was not even worth mentioning so now I sit here writing a rant and growing sleepier by the minute. I have already started a new RPG Digital Devil Saga and whenever I'm done playing I hide the memory card. I still dream about accidently saving over his Steambot Chronicles..
Lesson: Don't Save Over Other People's Games And If You Do Because You Were Being Retarded Give A Half Decent Apology.
