Inferior Aspect. 17-year-old Toya Takeshi has several problems. First of all, there are people saying he's the person who created several murder crimes.
Secondly, the girl he likes is seemingly superior to him.
Next, his job as president as his school is going down the drain.
And finally, Toya's mom is dying from lung cancer from being a 17-year smoker.
Oh, and by the way...the girl he likes is the crime-maker.

Chapter One, Inferior Complex


4:30 A.M. Wednesday.
Sleeping peacefully on a tradition japanese bed, his brown hair swept to the side, messy. He's had a two hour sleep. Earlier he was collecting data for a science project. Next to his bed sat a new brand of tea. It was a calming tea to, inevitably, calm him down. He was a rather normal guy, one who relaxes, tries to be laid-back - but not popular, yet not unnoticed. It was clear that he was an important figure at school. Top Grades in Classes, highly noticable by colleges.
Have you ever had 'one of those days' where nothing goes right? Besides the Data being only half-done, it already started out horribly. And it was only about 4.5 hours into the day! At the 4:31 mark, the door busted open. In shock, he jumped in his bed. But he wouldn't move any farther. With a gun pointed at your face, there isn't much more you could do.

'Toya Takeshi, Don't move a muscle.' The man with the gun warned. Toya lazily slid his eyes to the badge on the man's uniform. 'You're an officer...' Toya declared. The man put the gun in a pouch and put Toya's wrists in cuffs. 'Officer Masahide.' He told him. 'You are under arrest for murder and attempt.' The officer grunted.

Hana Chiwasaki smiled at him. For the second time in Toya's life, Hana Chiwasaki smiled at HIM. Hana was the popular one. The pretty one. The Idol. She was known through out the school. Toya adored her; and why not? She was the one who could be for him. At least he thought so. I mean, the most respected guy and the most idolized girl together is a dream come true. He's talked to her once. But that was when he grabbed her the book she wanted. She's not too tall, around 5'1, while he was a grand 6'0. He handed it to her, when she gratefully accepted it. She smiled and said 'Thank you.'
Toya would remember that forever.

The whole neighborhood was surrounding the house; embarrassing enough for the teenage boy. He scanned the people with dark green eyes. Hana smiling. And there was another girl, fighting to get through the audience. 'Please let me through! This isn't fair! He didn't do it! I promise!' She yelled. Toya noticed, but no one else seemed to. She ran up to him. 'Toya-san, I promise I'll help you!' She told him, surely. 'I'll help you!' She screamed when he was put away in the car. Toya watched her yelling at the officer when they drove off. He thought suddenly, 'Why do I have a feeling that I'm an inferior aspect!'
