Addition to title- And "Brothers of the Sacred Heart"
So on Saturday we went to Brothers of the Sacred Heart to swim and picnic with our family and the neighbor kids. We had planned to just take me, Naomi, Daniel, Becky, and Julie, but we ended up taking Kim, Ben, Ernie, Michael, Chris, plus the originals. The grounds there are so SPIFFY!!!! I can't even BEGIN to describe how beautiful and inspiring it is there.....And the pool is really nice, too. It's pretty big and there's a diving board and hardly any chlorine. Dean came and was doing all these head-first dives and stuff. Eventually Naomi told us not to do those because it was only seven feet deep to dive into.
Of course Dean doesn't listen and goes and does a head-first dive right after she told us not to. Then he floated real slowly up to the top and Nomi almost freaked out but then he popped his head up and was just like, "Haha." Butthead.
"Amateur hour? Yippee, wait for me!"
Sunday was our first day in OUR VERY OWN CHURCH!!!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!! all of us girls dressed up and did our hair and looked all pretty in honor of it. I wore my cute creamy-golden-autumney baby-doll dress and Nomi wore Julie's white dress and Becky and Julie wore their Alloy dresses and Kim wore a flowery dress. Nancy took pictures of us all redface It's so awesome to finally be in our own building! Aannnddddd me and Julie got to teach the first Kids Church in the new building! How fun!
After church Becky and Kim and I went for a walk on the bridge in our dresses and took our parasols. We passed an old lady and she was like, "I wish I brought my camera now. Y'all looked so pretty comin' down the bridge just now." ?? Okay......
Once again, I spent two days at Meredith's. Sunday night we watched the Langaliers, a thriller based off of Stephen King's book. It was kinda creepy. Especially the weird psycho man that had a connection with the little blind girl..... Monday night we went to a pool dance party, but it wasn't as fun as we thought it would be. It was just awkward and we didn't know what to do cause there was TONS of people there. I like swimming when there's only a few people there.
And today, Tuesday, when I came home from Meredith's it stormed super hard and Kim andI went out and it and had lots of fun. Lesson learned- Do NOT run down a slippery wet hill in the rain. Second lesson learned- Do NOT try to run really fast back to the house on slippery wet grass after already slipping and sliding down the hill. But there was a double rainbow after it rained. Pretty. heart
