Kichi's ramblings.
If I ever feel like I need to talk about something, but don't feel like talking to people directly about it, or maybe jus feel like only saying it once, or for whatever reason feel like posting it here...well, this is where it'll go.
Oh my god. I cannot express my love for Japan...
Today I woke up at 6:30, and my host mother rode the train with me to Hakata station, where I met my Sensei (teacher), who rode the train with me to Kashii station, where we got off, and walked for aroubd 5 minutes to get to Kyuushu High School, where I'm going for the rest of the week.

It started out pretty boring, besides helping one of the High School Senseis find the Concordia Language Villages Japanese Camp. But then, we went to an english class where we spoke with the students, who were cool, but we didn't have much to discuss.

However, after that, we went to an all female (noticed this about half way through the class XD) art class, where after a discussion about our names, I found myself drowning in a sea of school girls.

This was simply because one of them mentioned Final Fantasy, and I said basically "Oh! I've played VII" in japanese. And from there, the discussion went through uncountable animes, mangas, and games, including all three of the mangas I had bought ONE DAY PREVIOUSLY.

Within 10 minutes of the conversation starting, the number of girls surrounding me went from 5 to around 20.

It was INCREDIBLE. How much better can you get?! In japan, surrounded by school girls, discussing anime, manga, and video games for nearly 2 hours. I wish I had nabbed a video...or even a picture...but I was having too much fun.

Apparently one of the other two groups (made by splitting our group into three) walked by during this time, and my friend Katie saw me, and laughed her head off at the sight.

Of course, my ears still kind of hurt from all their screaming whenever I said I recognized this manga or that game, or liked such and such character from said manga/anime/game.

Anyways, then we had lunch after reluctantly leaving the classroom.finally, after a class with jus our three groups, I headed home. Then, here in my host family's house, I got into a discussion (not arguement) about videogames affection violent behavior and religion with my host mother. IN JAPANESE. It was AWESOME.

anyways, I'll try to update tomorrow too.

Oh, and there was a Typhoon during the third class. It was cool.
