Dean is trying to cope with the fact that he shot Lana and that she can't look at him the way she did before. He tells Sam that he was forced to shoot at the one woman he's ever truely cared about and now she's afraid of him. Dean tells him that he can't cope with it and Sam helps Dean find Lana and Lilly. When they find them he discovers that Lana and Lilly were attacked by a Demon and that Lana is in a coma. Dean goes to see her after Sam goes to see how Lilly is holding. When Dean sees Lana all he can think about is that he could've helped her and that he could've protected her if he was there. He sees as his fault and can't live with the thought of losing Lana and never being able to ever see her again. He holds her hand and tears begin to run down his face. Memories of them together begin to fill his head and he tells Sam that he can't leave her the way she is. Sam tells him that they'll stay as long as it takes until Lana wakes up. Dean goes back to Lana and tells her that he will wait for her.
