She sat beside me smiling. "Sorry I don't have much here." I said looking around at the book shelves, TV, stereo, and table. I glanced at the stars out the window behind the TV. She smiled and looked at me, and shuck her head. "It's ok, I like it. It's small and beautiful. I want to live in a place like this." She blushed as I looked at her.

"This might sound weird, but why don't you stay here with me then?" I asked remembering what you said about your father. "I mean with the money my uncle left me it wouldn't bother me, and I wouldn't be alone anymore ether." Rubbing my head, blushing. Tears rooled down her face. "I can't cuase my dad won't allow it. I have to go it's late." She got up and headed for the door. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

I said reaching for her hand. "I would protect you you from him, if he's that mean." Holding her, trying to make her feel better. She looked into my eyes. "Your sweet." She said as i looked into her eyes. "I mean it. Your the first friend I ever had. And I'd do anything to protect you." Isaid shedding a tear. "Ok I'll stay." She said wiping the tear away. "Thank you. Um, may I ask why your father's so mean?" I asked letting her go. She looked at the ground. "I dunno. He used to be really loving and caring but... I dunno. I guess he just changed." I lowered my ears, and felt bad for asking. "I'm sorry." I leand close and kissed her on the cheek.

"you could sleep in my room; it's the next door across the hall. I'll sleep here on the couch." I said smiling trying to lighten her mood. "No, it's your house. I'll take the couch, I don't mind." She said hugging me tightly. I hugged her as well. "Your so kind. But I usually fall asleep reading on the couch any ways." I said laughing.
