as i lie here on this hill
i gaze into the sparkling night sky
wondering when this saddness of mine will end

i never had a family to call my own
nor a friend i could trust
waiting all these years to be noticed

i begen to get up and take a walk
looking at the pine trees glistned with snow
my long boots pressing up against the snow
leaving trails behind

what would it be like to be loved
i thought as looked up at the stars
or even have a family

my long brown hair sways to the left
as a gentle wind comes my way
a tear falls down my shivering cheeks

i have no place to go
no place to stay
an endless sea of thoughts
running through my mind

i have nobody standing beside me
no followers by my side
its just me walking
along this shivering cold trail

for i am a traveler
with alot of saddness held behind me
searching for a better life
thats my dream
my goal
what i live for

why do people suffer
why do people cry
why do people hurt

why are there bad people in this world
why do we not care
why do most guys rape little kids

why cant we be happy
why cant we change
why do we go through this everyday

is there any hope of a better future
can we change our ways
is it possible for everyone to be happy

this is what once went through my mind
before i went to church
for they have showed me there is away

for there is our saver god and jesuse
our gloriouse creaters
they can help us

like they did many years ago
when the world was going bad
when everyone was hurt

when you feel alone dont worry
they'll be there
when your hurt and sad
pray and they'll cheer you up

if you have any worries
dont be shy
leave it in there hands

for the world will become a better place
just wait and see
all you gotta do is belive
truly belive

and ecept them in your heart
and pray like you mean it
your life will be better just wait and see

for you have god in your heart and soul
and nothing can go wrong
just wait and see
