  • Geoff's Pros as to choosing one of these badboys.
    • I would be driving somting I actually want as opposed to settling on something practical
    • It's possably the best looking car in that price range
    • If I take car of it, I'll be able to most of my money back, should I decide to sell.
    • It's Itaillian n_n
    • It has a favorable weight distribution
    • It looks better, and probably goes much better than anything els in that price range.
    • A coment from a girl, pertaining to me, her and the hood of the car
    • The sound of the engine going flat out. blaugh
    • It would be my baby. It was easy to get attatched to this car, and I am very sure I would take better care of it than if I where driving somthing cheaper.
    • Its Rear Wheel Drive 3nodding

  • Geoff's Cons as to choosing one of these badboys.
    • Very Expensive parts
    • According to Auto Trader. Alfa GTVs are priced from R50 000(high) ->R17 500 (low); So would I be buying a car that needs alot of work. Or would it be ok.
    • It's Itallian
    • With its apitite for high octane, would I be able to afford it
    • I would only really drive it if:
      • my friends chipped in petrol money
      • I couldn't walk
      • it was special occasion

    • And I may be over cauctious with it.

Buying this car would be like aquiring a work of art. However if I want to train myself when it comes to driving, would this car be a wise choice, considering the high cost of parts. A blown gasket could cost anyware from R6 000 to R10 000, wich would be half of what I paid for the car.
On the other hand it is one Sexy machine. Something I think I would have great pleasure in driving.

The car would have to last me the four years that I'll be doing my Mechanical Engineering diploma. I would probably end up taking public transport to get to campus, but would I be able to keep this stallion in my stable with a humble student budget?

What do you guys think about the car, weather I should get it or not, and anything els that comes into mind. Does anyone have any advice for searcing for one, and what I should do as a student, if I do get the car.

That does look pretty awesome. Just like how I like the 240SX.
