June 25, 2007 Today was the day we were supposed to take Smoky back to the vet to have his heart checked out, but my mom didn't take him. I kind of wish she would have because I'm still worried about him, but he's been acting okay. And it would have been more money and more stressing him out, and I wonder if these trips to the vet is what caused something to happen with him in the first place. I just hope that it's not something that will happen again and that he doesn't need to be checked on. Instead my mom went to lunch with her friend and my aunt and uncle went with my grandparents. I was a little mad that they left me sleeping instead of asking if I wanted to come with them, because I was bored sitting at home but it turned out the place they went was only serving one thing for some dumb reason because they said there was no menu on Monday. Lame. So it would have been silly for me to go. And at least this way I could stay and watch Smoky.
