That's it, I'm quitting my job.

I have my lovely four hour shift today. If you're working less then 5 hours it normally means you're packing. I go in, am told I'm packing (score, because I hate dealing with customers on Toonie Tuesday) so I start packing for Anne and Lindsey. About an hour in, Gourd (the ******** new guy who's been promoted to freggin manager in less then a month) comes up to me and says I have to take a cash. Now this is retarded because there's about 3 hours left in my shift and they want me to take a cash. I point this out, saying Amanda was suppossed to take Anne's cash, not me. He says whatever and then 5 minutes later he tells me to take my cash. Grudgingly I comply.

End of my shift-ish, I get a half-hour to cash out time. I go to take it and Gourd tells me I have to help with packing for drive-thru. So I do, because he's the manager and I basically have to do whatwever he says. Ten minutes later I tell him I'm cashing out. I have my float counted and my pick-up ready five minutes later, I tell Gourd I'm doing my final pick-up. He insists on counting my float first (something no one has ever insisted on doing before). I say Ok, that fine and he says he'll do it in a minute. Then the a** goes and takes a break outside. It's now 8:00, I was suppossed to have left by now. I go and poke himw hen he comes back in, saying I'm supposed to have left by now. He nods in a dismissive manner and says he'll do it in two seconds. I go and watch my float gather dust and then find him again. He's in the back room making a bloody personal call when he should be counting my float. I get slightly mad, but keep my cool and tell him I'm doing my final pick-up. I do my cash-out and count everything. He saunters in after I'm done everything and won't let me leave unitll he verifies everything I've done.

It's not just this incident, little things that happen in my store all the time peeve me off, the new management sucks and I just don't actually need to have a job. I'm going to apply at other places and get a good job.
