Well, I had fun today *flaps her lip and giggles* half of my upper lip/nose being novacaned and all... Went to the dentist for my first cavity ever 3nodding (Despite all appearance, I'm not actually all that big on sugar... but three years in-between trips can defiantly lead to declining tooth health <.<; )
The nurse was really nice, ^.^ and when I told the doctor lady I'd never had much done before, she went slow and made it quite clear what was going on so I didn't flip whee and I got a tube of chapstick to boot! *giggles* Anyway, I gotta go back Thursday to make sure it all worked out and to get a general check-up thingy 3nodding Poor Dad though, novacane don't work so well on him <.<; ... they had to replace a filling (which involves drilling @.@) and he's gotta go back for the other one, which he's pretty sure will be a root canal >.--
Speaking of Dad, he told me a lovely story about one of his fillings: They didn't kill all the bacteria before filling in the hole.. and when bacteria grow, they create gas... Then, when he went on an airplane a few days later, his tooth exploded eek Broke right in half to let the gas out >.< Needless to say, he had to get a bridge *laughs and shakes her head* But he told me that was way back when, now they were far more careful about such things.
Welp, my lip seems to be working again, and I shouldn't be in danger of chewing it off so I'm off to eat a late lunch!!!
