PN is pretty cool. Tenara is a fun hangout, sorta French Quarter-style setting ^_^ I'm pretty happy right now. It's rather funny, actually ^_^ Anyway, I finished 2 of my summer reading books! Hey, it's a miracle! I never read any of my books until at least July. But...I can't do the report thing. Theme: what the heck?! I have to read Medea, but I'm so used to Shakespearean plays that it's really difficult. I got into Cat's Cradle and Catcher in the Rye easily, once I had nothing else to do. I finished Catcher in 1 day. The Vonnegut book took me a little longer, but it was longer and a little...spastic. the longest chapter was maybe 6 pages stare I kept reading 7 chapters, then getting annoyed because I'd only read 20 pages or so. But I did finish is, once I saw where it was going ^_^ It just took its sweet time GETTING there. But I liked it very muchly.
This is going to be one of those many wonderful times that I'm glad my dad was an english teacher. I can ask for help if I'm stuck. I'd much rather have a few of my classmates around (it's a nice little list too, from this year's class, actually) who will say something that's almost right, but not quite, and then it's easy. That's how I did well this year. I can improve just enough on someone else's idea to get it right. Or sometimes, I actually do have my own, but rarely. Like that stupid poem I had to paraphrase. Thank GOODNESS the lights weren't on. My face was bright red. I could tell. SO embarassed ninja
