Every night I sit here and wait, wait for the day that you'll return and break these chains that bind me here. You said you come back when the moon cried red, but you never did so I remain here, waiting. My tears flow down upon the chains but they will not rust, they will not break. My body is bond but my soul is free to wait for you, every night. I know in my heart that you will never come back, but my soul we never give up the hope that you will come back, alive and remove the chains and take back my body to rejoin my soul which has wandered deside you, since you first left me here.
The chains have left painful marks upon my skin, but I can hardly notice, I still wait there by the window for your return, because even if the chains are gone my soul is still bond to you, even after you you left me to cry and bleed from the cuts you left.
