Last Month: Old, watery Southern cities.
So, I got the list down to Wilmington, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; Savannah, Georgia; St. Augustine, Florida; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Of course, St. Augustine and New Orleans win for weather. Hell, I can hardly take North Carolina winters. An average winter temperature of 60°F is just high enough for me. Also, the state has to be on some large body of salt water, and I prefer the city to have a river in it. It also has to be old. Like, it needs at least one major section of town with cobblestones and old buildings. Findyourspot.com gave me a bunch of cities in Louisiana, some in Arkansas, some in Maryland, and some in California, mostly. Maryland's too far north, Arkansas isn't on the coast, and I'd rather stay in the South. Of course, the quiz was based on my personal preferences. I'll have to get my mom to go to that site. I tried to look up some information on cost of living and what not, and Savannah and New Orleans seem to be winning that, but I couldn't look up St. Augustine. Then, my mom kind of seems to prefer Florida, and we don't know exactly how far away we'll be able to move. So, it seems to be a tie between New Orleans and St. Augustine at the moment, but mostly because I don't have as much information on St. Augustine, and Mom likes Florida. Oh, and all cats in my random picture signature are or were mine, except for the one with Japanese writing over it. Hwyl.
