Hi, I'm Laura. I hope you find this journal interesting. I have been interested in the paranormal since childhood. I've seen things and have been reading up on it since way back in the third grade....wow how time flies! Anyway now I have founded my own paranormal research group where I live. There are a lot of ideas going around abourt the paranormal and very few have any real evidence behind them so it seems for now it's a matter of conjecture.

One thing I can say though with some conviction is that orbs in photos are not spirits or energy! They are just dust or moisture. You can tell because they are only captured in photos where the flash is used. More and more websites and books are coming out talking about orbs and it really irks me because I can create orbs in my photos, it's an easy thing to do. Just shake a broom around and then use the flash. You will get all the orbs you want. It's only dust! (That's my little rant)

On the other hand I have spoken to a few people who have actually seen orbs and orb lights in person. I give these a bit more credence. I have one friend who sees different co,colored orbs floating around his house. I still can't figure that one out.
