Time is not always healing.
As you are yet to show feelings
toward your sad and empty life,
filled to the brim with anger and strife.
All is not well
and you cannot tell
That behind you is past
and it will not last.
as today is tomorrow's yesterday
That I will say.
So as you can see it's all the same
It just goes by a different name.
I gave you my heart,
you tore it apart,
Yet you don't sem to care,
that my heart's not all there.
Pieces are gone,
and it hasn't been fun
for you laughed at my pain.
And pleased with yourself, you smiled again.
I hate myself for loving you,
Because I love you, you hate yourself too.
You don't know want you want,
your face as always remains gaunt.
Expressionless, emotionless
you seem to care less and less.
But it's all the same to me you see,
For I take away your agony.
I do this out of empathy
that's my silent tragedy.
Time is NOT always healing
Because you show no feelings,
I take on the pain of others,
but some of them I should let suffer.
Their feling of defeat
puts me back on my feet.
As their cries of sorrow
reach into tomorrow.
Hard as I try
I can't help but cry.
When I see you in the arms of your lover
You know that always makes me suffer.
