Not literally, of course.
I mean that I've been working myself so hard these past few days that I'm at the brink of madness. D: But you all should know that I like being dramatic, so don't worry. Anyhow, I better actually say what's going on rather than just blabbering like some dried cabbage muttering nonsense.
It has been rather hectic lately. I didn't get any sleep yesterday because I got three jobs simultaneously - a thread design, a background design and a profile design. Thankfully, all three are done, so I was able to purchase quite a lot of stuff from my wishlist. (Opps.. just remembered that I need to update it ._.) As well as that, I have courseworks (I only have the final version of 'A View from the Bridge' to do), exams, Science in the News, and all those kind of stuff.
Today, for the umpteenth time in my life, our family and the families in Tinsley went for another BBQ in Rothervalley Park. It was enjoyable, as usual, but my brother was being his lazy self again and couldn't be bothered to come - but it was his loss, of course, because he missed all the awesome food. >< Unlike last time, this one is rather unique. Hidaya, Nabila, me and Kak Affiq went down to have the pedal boat ride and it was HILARIOUS. Hidaya and Kak Affiq can't pedal and stir the boat to save their lives and we were crashing and bumping here and there for about seven minutes until we could finally go somewhere. @_@
Anyway, I took over the pedalling with Nabila and we went around the small island in the middle of the lake and had a look around - we didn't have time to make a full turn around the island though, but we were so close to the edge that when we decided to move back to the port, we actually got stuck between the rocks. O.o Luckily, I managed to stir the boat away after several attempts and we went back and parked the boat. But I promised my sis that I would ride with her, so there I went, back to the port and we took another boat - for me, my two sisters and Nabila. This time, we had more time (and I took control of the steering) so we did manage to circle around the island.
We met Faris and Atiq along the way though, with their two sisters, Aina and Safia. They were being stupid, so I rammed our boat against theirs and had a small race when Atiq then decided to snap our picture with his camera. Unfortunately for us, our cameras were left behind by mistake, but I did ask for Atiq's camera and I snapped his picture there, while on the pedal boat. XD They were boasting about how they could stir the boat as well and they went over to the edge of the island to look around - I decided to stir the boat somewhere else because I had a glance up-close earlier anyway. But then, Atiq's boat got stuck (like what happened to me before) but unlike me, he had to call someone to help him out. XP I laughed so hard I thought my ribs would crack.
It was funnier when I saw Mck. Azu (Atiq's mom) running down the hill, waving a hand at me. I shouted that they were stuck, so the whole group knew what happened!! I decided to slow down until they catch up with us and he was dead embarrassed. He didn't want to give up though and decided to race back towards the start - unluckily enough for him, my boat beat him to it. XP
It was a really, really fun experience. I enjoyed every single bit of it and I'm still dressed in the same clothes I wore (dark blue dress with white sleeves). It's sad that we would need to part soon - hope I can experience this one more time before we do part.
