LIKE A DYING ROSE
like a dying rose
sitting in the sun
where everone knows
its not surviving
thay watered it often
but pulled it from the ground
and when thay come near
or when thay come around
then the petals turn black
and are no longer red
when the leaves are brown
it must mean that i am dead
im nothing but a dying rose
who was pulled from the ground
and where everyone knows
that i am no longer around

slowly turning stale
and slowly withering away
I sit and wither before you
knowing theres nothing you can do
and if picked from my stem
i will die more soon
my fate is the same
no matter what i do o
