Things have been very busy around the office, AKA my living room. I have been working hard at putting up the finishing touches of our first episode script for World of Warcraft: Venture Company Chronicles, and I have to say that I am quite happy with what I have done and I really want to share with you how I work out my script writing experience.

The first thing that happens is I find inspiration. This is done from many things; listening to music, watching a movie, seeing something interesting in one of my numerous walks are all typical experiences that I undergo to help push my creative mind. I then just write, almost unconsciously about what it is that I want to. Things usually are incredibly garbled and there are a lot of dis-conjointed sentences involved and it really is a gigantic mess to clean up. That is why I take a few days to rest and then take a look at what I had written, edit and flatten out everything to a more discernable set of content. I continue to do so, over and over about three or four times until I come to a final draft, which I then show to a few close confidants before setting up the script read.

With the Venture Company Chronicles, I spend a lot of time focusing on the relationship my artist and I have as friends. We are both, incredibly different people, with definitive attributes and traits that are almost always contradictory to each other. Somehow, this doesn't hinder our creative process, but strengthen it and compliments it really. It is both our personalities that defined our two main characters for this series.

I think, though, that it may be a bit too soon to be talking about specifically what these two characters are and their place in this world. I will leave that for the next entry and promise to explain everything thoroughly.

Until then, keep your eyes to the skies and thank you again for taking the time to read.
