Like I said, it's not too good, but I liked it!

sunset smile
a smile that fades,
the last of its kind,
it falls away, to biodegrade.
the thought of its existence, wiped from heart and mind.

Next comes the sunset,
sinking below the earth,
in too deep and too hard to get.
lost and never knowing its true worth.

Then comes the rain,
sliding down the planet's complexion,
showing the pain,
showing depression
showing what no one will ever know.

finally the pain is at rest,
the eye of the storm,
sleep will be the test,
to arise again at morn.

a perfect smile,
one to light up the world,
lost, all because she's just a silly girl.
she closes her eyes,
trying her best,
trying for a break,
a break from "depressed"
