Today I went to Universal with Jamie and my parents. Originally we were going to go to Sea World, and I wish we had gone there instead. Apparently teachers can get into both places for free, and Jamie had thought she was a teacher, just because she was told that by Avalon. What she failed to realize was even though they consider her a teacher, because they're a private, fake, unaccredited school, doesn't mean everyone else considers her a teacher. She hasn't been through college, had no teaching certificate, nothing. A real school wouldn't get away with that, but since Avalon is a fake school with fake teachers giving out fake diplomas, they do whatever they want. Anyways as I predicted, after checking things out, Jamie indeed did not qualify as a teacher. But at least my mom really is a teacher, teaching at a real school, with a real teaching degree. So she got in free and got us in with a discount. It was so hot and awful though. And a line for everything, even the tickets just to get in. I got sunburned and my legs hurt and I wanted to go home but they insisted on going all over the place first. I really don't like theme parks very much. I'm too old for many of the rides and the rest are things like roller coasters which I don't like. At least I got to sit down for a while while Jamie went on those. But yeah, I've been to these places so many times I really don't like them much. I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't during such a hot time of the year or if we could leave sooner. I don't like spending the whole day there when my feet hurt and I'm nasty and sweating. I had to keep taking ice from the drink stands to put all over me, and I noticed a lot of other people started doing that too.
